Why bamboo, not trees?
Bamboo is technically a grass — it regenerates from its rhizome network after harvest, no replanting needed. It matures in 3–5 years (versus 20+ for hardwood), and it sequesters carbon faster than nearly any tree species on Earth.
A standard pack of virgin-pulp toilet rolls uses ~17 trees per ton of finished paper (FAO data) and 90,000 litres of water. The same pack made from bamboo? Zero trees felled. Roughly 30% less water. And the finished tissue is softer than recycled — no rough recycled-fibre feel.
