Yes — our toilet rolls and facial tissues are tested septic-safe and dissolve in water following the IPC-CIB soak-test methodology used by Indian municipal sanitation labs. Kitchen towels, dinner napkins and multi-fold hand towels are not designed to be flushed — they use a heavier, wet-strong sheet and should be disposed of in your dry-waste bin or composted (the sheet is 100% biodegradable). Each pack carries a clear flush / no-flush indicator.

Genuinely softer. Bamboo fibre is naturally longer than the short, broken fibre in recycled pulp, so the sheet folds and drapes closer to virgin-tree paper without any of the tree-felling. Recycled paper feels rough because of fibre fragmentation across multiple recycling cycles — bamboo's fibre is being used for the first time, so the sheet is smooth and strong at the same ply.

FSC stands for the Forest Stewardship Council — an independent international body that audits forestry operations end to end. The bamboo pulp we use is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers, meaning the upstream forestry is audited against FSC's environmental and social criteria. Yes — every BambooPaper order ships in paper-wrapped rolls inside a recyclable mono-material carton. No shrink-wrap, no polybag, no plastic handle, no plastic tape. We are fully compliant with India's Single-Use Plastic ban (effective 1 July 2022). The wrap and carton can both go straight into your dry-waste recycling stream.

We publish every coefficient — trees saved per roll, litres of water saved, kilograms of CO₂ avoided — at /our-bamboo-story/#methodology. Numbers are sourced from FAO virgin-pulp data (17 trees and ~90,000 litres of water per ton of virgin tissue) and applied per-SKU based on actual sheet weight. The homepage and account-dashboard counters are summed across real completed orders — not marketing estimates.

For one-time orders we accept UPI, all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Net Banking and major wallets via Razorpay. For subscriptions we use the three RBI-compliant auto-debit mandates: UPI Autopay, NACH eMandate, and card tokenisation. You can update your mandate any time from the account portal — Razorpay's hosted page handles the re-authorisation flow.

2–4 business days to metros (Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai), 4–6 days to tier-2 cities, 5–8 days to tier-3 and rural PIN codes, and 6–10 days to remote regions (North-East, J&K, Ladakh, A&N Islands, Lakshadweep). Bamboo tissue is not a dangerous good (no UN class), so we are eligible for air courier via Shiprocket — which gives us a meaningfully better delivery window than most large-pack consumables in India.

7 days from delivery for unopened, undamaged packs — full refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of pickup. Damaged or defective packs are replaced or refunded immediately. We run a four-tier carton-volume pricing model with 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% off retail depending on monthly volume — applicable to hotels, restaurants, cafés, hospitals, malls and offices buying multi-fold hand towels, toilet rolls, kitchen towels and napkins at scale. Every invoice is GST-compliant with your buyer GSTIN for input tax credit, and we set up scheduled quarterly subscription deliveries so the procurement team isn't re-ordering manually each month.
