Long-fibre bamboo gives a softer hand-feel than wood-pulp commodity tissues at the same ply count, so daily face wiping doesn't cause the redness or irritation that comes from rougher recycled tissue or lotion-treated sheets.
Yes — and arguably better than wood-pulp tissues for sustained use. The 2-ply embossed structure handles repeated blowing without disintegrating, and the bamboo softness is much gentler on irritated skin around the nose during a cold. No lotion means no skin reaction stacking on top of the cold itself.
Standard sheet is 200 × 200 mm (≈8 × 8 inches). Pack sizes: cube boxes hold 80–100 tissues; flat boxes hold 150–200; travel packs hold 10 per soft sleeve (3-pack and 6-pack travel multi-packs available); family multi-packs ship 4–6 cube boxes per outer carton.
The tissue is fully compostable in a backyard pile or council compost (paper waste). The paperboard cube box is recyclable in any kerbside paper stream — there's no plastic film, no plastic dispenser opening, no foil lining. Travel-pack soft sleeves are paper-wrapped and recyclable.
For dry makeup (powder, eye-shadow residue, lipstick blotting) — yes, the soft 2-ply is well-suited. For heavy waterproof or oil-based makeup you'll still want a dedicated remover product (tissues won't dissolve oil-based cosmetics on their own). Bamboo's softness makes it gentler around the eye area than commodity tissue.

Bamboo's long natural fibre gives a noticeably softer hand-feel than recycled tissues, whose fibres are shorter (already broken down through one paper lifecycle). Recycled tissue is rougher and more prone to fibre fragments under the eye / nose. Bamboo also doesn't carry the trace ink residue that recycled tissue sometimes does.
